| Description of accident: | "According to witnesses, the aircraft, which had just departed Baker City Municipal Airport, was proceeding to the north about 100 feet above the ground, when it appeared that it began to slow. Soon thereafter, the nose of the helicopter began to rise, and it appeared to '...drop right out of the sky.' The aircraft has been recovered, and will undergo further inspection."
